Owner Niko Moulagianis has been in restaurants since the age of 13. “From busboy to bartender, if it’s part of the restaurant business, I’ve had my hands in it,” Niko says with a smile.
Niko has founded several popular restaurants in Northeast Ohio over the last two decades, but Niko’s Bar and Gyros has a special focus—three of Niko’s personal loves: great and simple food, sports, and craft beer.
The word “gyro” is used broadly at Niko’s. You’ll find traditional lamb and beef gyros carved right from the spit, plus non-traditional options like the BLT gyro and the blackened salmon gyro. And you’ll find other local favorites from half-pound Angus steak burgers to six varieties of homemade hummus.
Niko’s also is a haven for Ohio sports fans. “We buy all the packages from basketball and football to baseball and UFC fights,” says Niko.
